Non-Surgical Body Contouring : MedSculpt™
Utilizing a special computerized body massage machine and M-sonic Ultra Sound Diathermy is an innovative non- surgical computerized system for removing inches of unwanted fat and body contouring is now available at Allure. This state of art treatment allows for a non-invasive and virtually painless removal of cellulite and localized areas of fat tissue.
In 2006 the MedSculpt™ Computerized Body Massage and M-sonic Ultra Sound Diathermy System received FDA clearance for the treatment and reduction of cellulite. The machine has been used in Europe for over five years for treating cellulite and reducing unwanted fat. The technology uses a powerful computerized vacuum massage and ultra sound to stimulate circulation and reduce cellulite.
The MedSculpt™ machine operates through a special membrane that massages, lifts, folds and presses tissue with an undulating motion. The vibration generated by the ultra sound hits and breaks the fat cells of the subcutaneous layer; the treatment sessions on the average last 20 minutes. After a few sessions results can be seen in the treated areas. The final result is a reduction of the circumference of the treated area with a smooth toned body. With this treatment there is no down time and the person can perform most daily activities while still having treatments.
The MedSculpt™ is an external alternative to reduce cellulite and perform body contouring. It is highly effective when used in conjunction with traditional mesotherapy, LipoDissolve or liposuction treatments to reduce those unwanted remaining lumps that can occur after these more invasive treatments. Another major advantage over liposuction, MedSculpt™ requires no general or local sedation and weeks of recovery time.
This procedure has been used in conjunction with surgical and non surgical fat reduction such as LipoDissolve, a fine toning agent for fat reduction. However, Dr. Laukaitis and Dr. Sires have found that the use of the MedSculpt™ machine alone provides positive results without the use of chemicals or surgical intervention without the discomfort.
