The PRP, injected into specific areas of the skin is high in natural growth factors which regenerates tissue, and thus acts as to naturally smooth and tighten the skin. In this way, PRP softens wrinkles and creating smoother skin texture and tone.
During your appointment, a syringe of blood will be drawn, usually from your arm. The blood is then put into a centrifuge, which separates the PRP from the blood. Depending on your consultation with our providers, PRP will then be applied in one of the following ways:
- As an injection into desired area on the face.
- As an injection into desired area on the face along with a Hyaluronic Acid Filler.
- It will be slathered on the face after a laser treatment or microneedling that has prepped the skin for the PRP to be absorbed into the skin.
